Here at Business Dynamics we have the solution to those problems. We have available, of course, a selection of commonly-used tests such as numeracy, literacy, and Microsoft products, but more importantly we can develop custom-tests that are tailored very precisely to your company, product, or industry. These tests can be quickly and inexpensively developed, and delivered on-line, as your needs demand.

These tests are available on-line and can be taken in your offices, or in your applicant's home. As such they can be used for large-scale screening of applicants, or small scale testing to provide suggestions for more in-depth interviewing.

In many cases the tests are used to help select staff objectively for recruitment or redundancy, eliminating the risk of a future tribunal for imaginary discrimination on the grounds of gender, age, ethnicity, or disability. Results are available immediately and reports are emailed direct to the HR Manager or department head. In the case of training there is also the opportunity to print a certificate of qualification.

Using the 9 team roles, as defined by Belbin, we can help you define and assess the characteristics of any job requirement, and then measure candidates against them. A typical process would be as follows:

  • Define the characteristics of any new job
  • Carry out an on-line test on candidates in terms of their preferred team roles
  • Recruit the right person for the role
  • Ensure that teams members have the appropriate behavioural characteristics
  • Provide on-going management, measurement, motivating and mentoring, in line with team roles

All testing can be done on-line, with reports being returned to selected personnel, as required.
